Moxie was working in the office today, making sure the keyboard worked and there was proper clearance for her to lay under the monitor. :)  Its tough being a kitty!

MOXIE!!!!

We brought our new girl home last night and named her Moxie.  Her ancestry goes all the way back to Persia!  Moxie is a tortie purebred Persian that we got from a breeder in Franklin and she purrs constantly.  Katie isn’t allergic to her yet so hopefully none of you are either.  Today she is going to get a bath… hee hee  more pics on that to come.

Granite, Sink, and Cooktop… oh my!

Well, the kitchen is almost done!  The granite countertops were installed on Saturday along with the undermount sink.  I then installed the pull-out faucet, Insinkerator garbage disposal and Insinkerator instant hot water dispenser.  The dispenser gives instant 200 degree water with the 2/3 gallon boiler under the sink.  There is also a cold water handle for filtered water.  The filter is inline under the sink as well!  Today the pendant light from Landmark lighting came and I installed that above the sink.

The cooktop is made by Vintage Luxury Appliances.  The 2 18,000 BTU burners worked great yesterday for fast boiling water and simmering the chicken alfredo. :)

Here are some more pics of the Pot rack bar that I installed last week and the iTouchless automatic opening garbage can!

This is the Tivoli glass sample that we are going to be using for the backsplash behind the cooktop.  We’ll have to see if we will go any further than that.  It comes in 1 foot square sheets.  Here is the hardware that we went with as well.  It is a cross weave in Swedish Iron.

Mathah’s Vinyid

That’s Martha’s Vineyard for those of you not living in Boston. :)  Mom and Dad Otto came out this past Labor Day weekend.  One of our main activities was taking a ferry to the Vineyard.  We also did some yard work at the house and other stuff.  Here are some pics of us on the Vineyard.
